Thank you for being such a friend to me
Oh i Pray a friend for life
And Have I ever told you how much you mean to me
Oh you mean so much to me
I’m thinking all the time
How to tell you what I feel
I’m contemplating phrases
I’m gazing at eternity
I am floating in serenity
And I am so lost for words
And I am so overwhelmed
Please don’t go just yet
Can you stay a moment please
We can dance together
We can dance forever
Under your stars tonight
We’ll live and breath this dream
Close your eyes
But don’t dream too deep
And please pass me some memories
When I fall you’re underneath
A thousand broken hearts
Carried by a thousand broken wings
A thousand broken wings…

The new stateside leg launches with an April 28 hometown performance in Belton, TX, followed by three more Texas shows before heading west. In all, the band will stop by clubs, theaters and festivals in 26 cities through a June 6 appearance at Live 105 radio’s BFD 2010 festival in Mountain View, CA.
Fair to Midland and Ten Years will provide opening support on the tour.
“Memento Mori,” Flyleaf’s sophomore album, landed in stores in November and follows the outfit’s eponymous full-length debut, which surfaced in 2005 and has since gone platinum. The latest set debuted at No. 8 on The Billboard 200 with sales of more than 50,000 units its first week out.
The quintet teamed up again with producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, The All-American Rejects) for the new A&M Records release, which was recorded at Los Angeles’ Bay7 Studios.
The album’s lead single, “Again,” which surfaced last summer, peaked at No. 4 on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart. The track is currently streaming at the band’s website and available for digital download at iTunes.
